Right from the nose, Dewar’s White Label 700ml shows a thin layer of aromas with lemon, white peach and a slight chlorine. When the wine breathes enough in the glass, it will reveal the overwhelming flavor of white peach, followed by honey, hops, lemon peel and citrus peel. On the palate, the wine overwhelms you with its strength from the beginning, waiting a bit to easily find the fatty taste.
The rich, strong flavor hits the palate at first but quickly fades away, giving way to honey, hops and lemon peel.
Although the start is very strong, the aftertaste is quite short and quite monotonous with lemon flavor. and ends with grain whisky flavor, for those who love smoky Scotch whisky , this will be a big minus point.
Suggestions for stylish enjoyment
And like any blended whisky, Scottish White Label is great to drink neat, on the rocks, with water or in cocktails. Adding water can bring out the vanilla but can make the whisky a bit bland (so be careful).
